Hardware
13.Check for loose hardware.
Walk around Inspection
14.Walk around unit and check for leakage, and
damaged or missing parts. Make necessary repairs
before operation.
Hydraulic Oil
IMPORTANT: Hydraulic sump must be filled before
starting engine or hydraulic pump will be damaged.
(Pumps damaged by running dry void warranty.)
15.Fill hydraulic sump to correct level with SAE 30W Oil.
Refer to Checking Transmission Oil.
Prime the Transmission
16.Prime transmission as instructed in General
Maintenance Section.
Check Safety Interlock System
17.Check to see that Safety Interlock System operates
correctly (Refer to Operation Section).
Lubrication
18.Unit should already be lubricated. Check unit as
outlined in General Maintenance Section.
DELIVERY
Using Owner/Operator Manual, instruct customer on
controls and operation of equipment. Emphasize safety
and discuss Safety Precautions. Give customer
Owner/Operator Manual. Advise customer to thoroughly
read and understand it.
Explain recommended lubrication and maintenance of
equipment. Advise customer on adjustments.
Fill out Original Purchaser Registration Card and return it
to GRAVELY. Place Model and Serial Numbers on page
in front of this manual.
Explain GRAVELY Limited Warranty.
WARNING
SAFETY INTERLOCK SYSTEM FAILURE and
improper operation of unit can result in death or
serious injury. ALWAYS know the Safety Interlock
System is operating properly.
