9. Servicing the product
Never stand on the CUE, motor and the pump.

that the power supply has been switched off and that it
cannot be accidentally switched on. See section
Installation requirements.

CUE has been switched off.

‐ Before carrying out any work, ensure that the motor is
not rotating. Even when not supplied with power, there
is voltage at the terminals of a rotating magnet-
assisted reluctance motor.

‐ Do not dismantle, assemble or maintain the motor if
you have a pacemaker or any other implanted
electronic device.
‐ Keep the working environment clean, make sure no
magnetized dust exist.

‐ The battery can cause severe or fatal injuries in 2
hours or less if it is swallowed or placed inside any
part of the body. In such event, seek medical attention
immediately.
• The replacement or servicing of batteries must be
carried out by a qualified person.
• The battery contained within this product, whether new
or used, is hazardous and is to be kept away from
children.
Conduct a functional test every 12 months to detect any failure or
malfunction of the STO functionality.
To conduct the functional test, perform the following steps:
• Remove the 24 V DC voltage supply at terminal 37.
• Check if the operating panel displays the alarm "Safe Stop
A68".
• Verify that the frequency converter trips the unit.
• Verify that the motor is coasting and comes to a complete stop.
• Verify that the motor cannot be started.
• Reconnect the 24 V DC voltage supply to terminal 37.
• Verify that the motor is not started automatically and restarts
only by giving a reset signal (via bus, Digital I/O, or the [Reset]
button).
