8.7.1 System overview
The menu System overview is shown after startup and during
normal operation of the system. It shows system information and
the status of the system.

The touchscreen is divided into different areas:
• Headline: Top of the touchscreen
• Content area: Centre of the touchscreen
• Menu bar: Bottom of the touchscreen

Headline
Symbol
Description
Indicates that the PLC is running.
Indicates that the PLC is disconnected from the
touchscreen.
Indicates that the PLC is stopped. A restart is
required.
Indicates that the external contact is closed.
Indicates that the external contact is open.
Flashes if the system was switched off via the main
switch (emergency stop).
Content area
Symbol Description
Indicates that dry polymer is present in the dry-
material feeder.
Push this symbol to open the menu Dry-material
feeder.
Indicates the status of the level switch and the
level of dry material in the dry-material feeder.
• White: Level switch is off
• Green: Level switch is on and level is ok
• Yellow: Low level
• Red: Dry material is empty. The system stops
and displays an alarm.
Indicates the status of the liquid-concentrate flow
switch.
• White: No flow
• Green: Flow rate ok
• Yellow: Flow rate out of limits (pre-warning)
• Red: Flow rate alarm. The system stops and
displays an alarm.
Push this symbol to open the menu Liquid-
concentrate pump.
Push this symbol to open the menu Liquid-
concentrate pump.
Indicates the status of the liquid-concentrate pump.
• White: Pump off
• Green: Pump on
• Red: Fault. The system stops and displays an
alarm.
Indicates the status of the water flow sensor.
• White: No flow
• Green: Flow rate ok
• Yellow: Flow rate out of limits (pre-warning)
• Red: Flow rate alarm. The system stops and
displays an alarm.
Push this symbol to open the menu Water unit.
Indicates the status of the solenoid valve.
• White: Valve closed
• Green: Valve open
• Red: Fault. The system stops and displays an
alarm.
Push this symbol to open the menu Tank.
The value Concentration: displays the
concentration of the polymer solution produced by
the system.
