Panel Operation
1. Press the Utility key.

2. Press I/O from the bottom menu.
3. Press USB Device Port from the
side menu.
4. Press Computer from the side
menu.
5. Connect the USB cable to the rear
panel slave port.
6. When the PC asks for the USB driver, select the
USB driver included in the FreeWave software
package. The driver file automatically sets the
GDS-3000 to a serial COM port. The Freewave
software package is downloadable from GDS-
3000 product section of the GW Instek website,
www.gwinstek.com.
