8 Service
8.1 Service
ONYX contains no user serviceable parts. Maintenance involves cleaning the outer surfaces of the equipment only.
8.1.1 Cleaning
1. Remove all mains cables and other connections from the unit.
2. The unit can be cleaned with a damp soapy cloth. Make sure that all equipment is dry before you reconnect and
start up again.
8.1.2 Battery
To avoid deep discharge due to self-discharge, battery packs should be fully charged at least once within a year, even
if unit is not in use.
8.2 Calibration
Calibration period of the ONYX has to be determined by the user, and depends on the intensity of use and end user
requirements.
Typically, a calibration is recommended every 2 years.
The ONYX is factory calibrated before shipped and supplied with the calibration certificate.
