Why is my Haier Air Conditioner indoor unit not cooling properly?
    • J

If your Haier Air Conditioner's indoor unit isn't cooling well, check the position and resistance value of the indoor gas pipe TC1 (three core, green) and liquid pipe TC2 (three core, black) sensors. They may be inserted conversely, pushed off, or have the wrong resistance value (temp. 25, TC1/TC2 should be 10KΩ). Also, the evaporator might be blocked by weld or dirt; in this case, collect the refrigerant and charge nitrogen to check and clean any obstructions. The phase sequence of EEV could also be reversed; try changing SW08-7 to OFF.

If your Haier Air Conditioner wired controller doesn't display anything, ensure that CN23 on the PCB is short-connected. Also, check if the communication wire of the wired controller from CN22 to the terminal is inserted correctly. Finally, verify that SW08-[6] is set to 'ON'; if it's 'OFF', change it to 'ON'.

Why is my Haier MRV II outdoor unit not heating properly?

      wilsontoddAug 17, 2025
If the outdoor unit of your Haier Air Conditioner isn't heating well, it could be due to several reasons. The indoor EEV might not be open, which requires the same treatment as a cooling problem. The evaporator could be blocked by weld or dirt, needing the same cleaning procedure as for cooling issues. Additionally, the system might lack refrigerant, which also requires the same treatment as in cooling problems.

How to fix Haier Air Conditioner wired controller displaying 8888?
    • K
      kingmichelleAug 25, 2025
If the wired controller of your Haier Air Conditioner displays '8888' circularly and cannot recover, check if SW01 on the PCB is set to '0'. If not, change SW01 to '0'. Also, make sure that CN30 on the PCB is short-connected; if not, create a short connection.
