LEVEL (TW)
is allows you to set the volume of the selected Wheel.
e setting range is “-INF” (OFF), “-73” (soft) to “+4” (loud) dB.
CUT OFF FREQUENCY - HPF (TW)
is allows you to set the frequency to cut the bass of the wheel.
If you decrease the value, a “motor hum” is heard besides the original virtual Tone Wheel
sound.
e setting range is “0” to “127.
LEAKAGE WHEEL NUMBER (TW)
is allows you to add a Leakage Tone to any of the Wheels from “01:0C” to “72:6B”
(“Fundamental Wheels”) by using the “Leakage Wheels” (“61:6C” through “91:8F
< -
see
the diagram on the right).
e selected Leakage Wheel will sound in conjunction with the Fundamental Wheel.
To select the Leakage Wheel, use the [VALUE] Rotary Knob or move the desired Drawbar
while holding down the key which represents the pitch you want to edit.

is allows you to adjust the volume of the selected Leakage Wheel.
e setting range is “-INF” (OFF), “-73” (soft) to “+4” (loud) dB.
NOTE: The parameters described on pages 90 and 91 can be saved as a Custom Tone
Wheel which can then be saved to a Patch. See page 92 for instructions on how to do
this.

“F” WHEEL NUMBERS
During the time when tone-wheel organs
were manufactured, several dierent schemes
were used. The most common one is the one
used in the B-3, C-3, etc., which uses twelve
specially-shaped tone wheels for the bottom
12 notes of the pedals. These tone wheels are
used to furnish depth and richness to the deep
bass notes and are NOT playable from either
Manual. These Complex Tone Wheels are pro-
vided for in the XK-5 and are designated by
the letter “F. Therefore, when you see “F01”
through “F12” in the Menu page for adjusting
the sound of individual Tone Wheels in the
TONEWHEEL Edit Menu, these are the Com-
plex Tone Wheels used for the bottom twelve
Pedal tones. (See the diagram below.)

DECIBEL (dB)
A decibel” (abbreviated db”) is a unit for
measuring the level of audio waves. If the vol-
ume of a sound is increased by “+6dB, it is ap-
proximately twice its previous level.
