Required Tools and Adhesives
• 5/32" hex wrench • Ruler
• Felt-tipped pen • Square
• Adjustable wrench (small)
Step 1
Install the axles in the landing gear. Secure the axles
using an adjustable wrench and the nuts provided
with the axles.
Step 2
Install the landing gear using four 8-32 x 3/4" socket
head bolts, four #8 washers and four 8-32 nylon lock
nuts. (The lock nuts are placed inside the fuselage.)
Step 3
Fit the pants over the axle on the landing gear. Align
the centerline of the wheel pant to the centerline of
the fuselage. Use a felt-tipped pen to transfer the
location of the hole onto the pant.
Step 4
Remove the pant and use a 9/64" drill bit to drill the
location marked in the previous step.
