Slight soiling which is not burnt on
After the appliance has cooled, use a
damp cloth with no cleaning agent to wipe
away dirt. Then dry the surface with a soft
cloth to prevent lime stains.
Light-coloured stains with a pearly tint
(aluminium residues, e.g. from alumin-
ium foils) can be easily removed with a
cleaning agent specially designed for this
purpose and available from specialist
dealers.
Vinegar is good for removing lime stains.
Hard, baked-on dirt
Tough stains can be most easily removed
after cooling using a blade scraper. Clean-
ing agents designed especially for this
purpose can also be found in specialist
shops.
Finally, wipe the surface with a damp
cloth.

after cleaning.
Sugary or starchy food residues,

If possible, remove food residues from the
cooking zone surface when it is hot by us-
