A. Mobile Home Installation
Mobile home approval - U.S. only.
1. An outside air inlet must be provided for combustion
air,andmustremainclearofleaves,debris,ice,and/or
snow.Theoutsideairpathmustbeunrestrictedwhilethe
appliance is in operation.
2. The combustion air intake system must be of metal
construction.Itmustpermitzero-clearancetocombustible
materials,andcontainarodentscreen.
3. The appliance must be secured to the mobile home
structure by bolting it to the oor. There are brackets
included,you'llneedtosecurewiththeproperlengthlag
bolts.
4. Theappliancemustbegroundedtothemetalframingof
themobilehome
5. All clearances to combustibles and oor protection
requirementsmustbefollowed.
6. Follow the vent manufacturer's instructions when
installinginamobilehome.
7. InstallationshallbeinaccordancewiththeManufactured
HomeandSafetyStandard(HUD)CFR3280,Part24
8. The appliance must never be installed in a room
designated for sleeping.
Thisdiagramshowsthebracketthatwasusedtoboltthe
stoveto the pallet. Use atleast two of these bracketsfor
securingtheappliancethroughtheoorinamobilehome
installation.Thebracketwillslipoverthetopoftheleveling
adjuster.Theinstallerwillneedtodetermineandobtainthe
properlysizedlagbolts.
Installation must comply with Manufactured Home and
SafetyStandard(HUD),CFR3280,Part24.
Never install in a room intended for sleeping.
Maintain structural integrity of mobile home:
Floor, wall, ceiling and/or roof.
DoNOTcutthrough:
• Floorjoist,wallstuds,orceilingtrusses.
• Any supporting material that would affect the
structural integrity.
Neverdrawoutsidecombustionairfrom:
• Wall,oororceilingcavity.
• Enclosedspacesuchasanatticorgarage
