1. Idenfy the 6 cm (2.3 inch) screws pre-installed in the
base of the child restraint under the fabric in the each
armrest ❶. Remove both screws and Hex bolts, and
set aside.
2. Idenfy the 22.3 cm (8.8 inch)
backrest connector rod, the 1.2
cm (0.5 inch) screw and washer
pre-installed in base of backrest
❷. Remove and set aside.
3. Connect backrest to base in the
upright posion, ensuring that the
backrest ts into the slots in the
armrests ❸.
: Squeeze backrest slightly to help
guide it into the slots.
4. With the backrest properly inserted
into the base, put the Hex bolts
back into place on the outside of
armrests. Reinsert the screws
on the inside of the armrests and
ghten to secure the screws to the
hex bolts ❹.
: If screws do not pass through
easily, make sure screw is aligned
with holes and tap screw head
lightly to guide it through the
plasc.
5. Turn the child restraint over and slide the base plate
between the two backrest anchor points ❷. Pass the
22.3 cm (8.8 inch) connector rod through assembly.
