See “Assembling/Unassembling child restraint”
(pg. 20) for instrucons for removing the backrest. Once
backrest is removed, turn recline knob clockwise unl
end is reached to retract the base plate on the boom
of the seat.
1. Place the booster seat rmly against the back of a
forward-facing vehicle seat in a posion equipped
with a vehicle lap/shoulder belt and headrest.
2. Have your child sit on the booster
car seat with their back at against
the vehicle seat.
3. Thread the lap poron of the lap/
shoulder belt system 
booster seat armrests, and ensure
that the belt is snug across child’s hips just touching
their thighs and is  across their stomach.
4. With lap/shoulder belt installed  
armrests, buckle vehicle seat belt into place.
5. Ensure the buckle is secure by gently pulling on it.
: To avoid possible entanglement and
choking with your vehicle’s shoulder belts, Harmony
Juvenile Products recommends that the following
precauons are taken when installing your booster
seat:
6. Pull the shoulder poron of the vehicle seat belt all
the way out unl the retractor locks.
7.  let the seat belt retract unl it is snug against
your child.

