In very few vehicles, the child restraint cannot be
properly installed because of the type of seat, seat belt
system, airbag system and/or lack of locaon to anchor
the Top Tether strap. the
vehicle owner’s manual for child restraint system use.
Use this child restraint in a vehicle rear seat locaon.
put this child restraint in a front seat locaon
unless permied in the vehicle owner’s manual.
For vehicles with airbags, refer to the vehicle owner’s
manual for child restraint installaon informaon.
If a vehicle’s front seat locaon must be used,
disable the airbag. Failure to disable the airbag system
can result in serious injury or death. Follow the vehicle
owner’s manual for instrucons on disabling the front
airbag system.

Insert the 1.2 cm (0.5 inch) screw with washer on
opposite side and ghten ❷.
: If connector rod does not pass through easily, make
sure it is aligned with holes and tap screw head
lightly to guide it through the plasc.
6. Secure fabric seat cover (see “Removing/Installing
fabric seat cover”, pg. 44).
: Ensure that all three connecon points
are secure and ght. over ghten.

Reverse the above steps to unassemble child restraint.
