Your child restraint has recline to
ensure proper installaon into your
vehicle. The child restraint is best and
most properly installed when all of its
surface area is in contact with your
vehicle seat.
Place the child restraint in the desired
seang posion (see “Choosing an
appropriate vehicle seat locaon”,
pg. 12) and turn the front recline
adjust knob ❶ to recline the backrest
unl the backrest lies ush on the
vehicle seat back ❷.
Carefully follow these instrucons and those in your
vehicle owner’s manual to be sure your child restraint is
properly posioned and held ghtly at all mes.

to check the shoulder straps and crotch
strap posion frequently and move them to the next
posion when necessary. The harness straps
be in the height posion even with or just above the
shoulders, and the crotch strap be in the slot
at or immediately in front of your child. The harness
pads and crotch pads are oponal and are not a safety
feature.
