- Turn the rod (3) to desired direction (one round at
once). Lock the nut (2) and re-tighten the bolts (1)
back. Adjust both tie-rods so that there is no
restriction of the steering lock. Check toe-in as
before.
9.5.1.2. Adjusting toe-in 4WD
Slacken the locking screw (1) of the tie rod and turn
the adjusting screw (2) in the desired direction.
Tighten the locking screw.
Adjust both tie-rods so that there is no restriction of
the steering lock. Check toe-in as before.
9.5.2. Limiting steering lock of front
wheels (powered front axle)
IMPORTANT: When altering the track width or
when fitting a front loader, always make sure that
the front wheels have free movement
to full lock in both directions and that
the front axle and the wheels can turn
fully. If necessary adjust the steering
lock stops on the powered front axle.
To carry out the adjustment slacken the locking
nuts (1) and adjust the adjusting screws (2). After
adjusting tighten the locking nuts.
IMPORTANT: Adjust the adjusting screws of both
sides to the same length, so that the
turning angle is the
same on both sides.
