2 Operation
The transmitter is equipped with an electronic radiomatic
®
iON key.
radiomatic
®
iON contains all the data required for operating the
transmitter. Operation is not possible without radiomatic
®
iON!
The radiomatic
®
iON can also be used for operation of replacement
transmitters of identical construction.
Activating the transmitter
1. Insert a charged battery into the battery compartment.
2. Unlock the STOP switch by turning.
3. Press button.
If the display flashes green, the transmitter is ready for operation
Deactivating the transmitter
Press the STOP switch.
Caution:
Before starting work always press the button and trigger the acoustic signal. This
warns all colleagues that the crane or machine is about to move.
Note:
Replace the battery when the display in the transmitter flashes red and an acoustic
signal sounds. Otherwise, the transmitter will switch off in a few minutes.
Recharge the empty battery in the respective charger.
