ADVANCED TV SETUP MENU
To enter the Advanced menu enter function code 9999 (FUNCTION – 0 – 9999) then press the “FUNCTION” button.
CHANNEL Shows a list of all active channels. Use the up/down arrow buttons to select a channel in the list. The
LIST. selected channel will show behind the OSD channel list window. Press the “ENTER” button to exit.
Selected channel will be shown.
Advance Go to the TV Setup Menu. See pages 15-23.
Menu
Load From Loads TV setup from a USB flash drive. A clone file must be created using the SAVE To USB
USB function . To load a clone file:
1. Insert a USB flash drive in to the SW-update Port on the rear jack panel. This is the port between
the HDMI jack and digital audio output jack.
2. Press the right arrow button.
3. Press the “ENTER” button to load setup data. Press the “Function” button to exit without
loading. …WAIT… will appear while data is loading. When data is finished loading the set will
turn off.
Save To Creates a clone file of TV setup data and saves it to a USB flash drive. To create a clone file:

1. Insert a USB flash drive in to the SW-update Port on the rear jack panel. This is the port between
the HDMI jack and digital audio output jack.
2. Press the right arrow button.
3. Press the “ENTER” button to save setup data. Press the “Function” button to exit without
loading. “ …WAIT…” will appear while data is being saved. When finished “===Finish===”
will appear and the OSD will turn off.
Mstar FW M-Star firmware update. Loads TV software update. This is NOT used to update the Android
Update operating system. To update TV firmware:
1. Insert an USB flash drive with the software update file on it. File must be named MERGEXX
where XX is any 2 digit number.
2. Press the Right arrow button to start the update process. “Search FW for Update ……” will
appear on the screen. Once the file is found “FW Update ! Wait ……” will appear and the power
LED will flash at various speeds. When the update is finished the set will turn off.
NOTE: If no update file is found OSD menu will close.
Power On Setup Power on settings.
Key Pad Selects the type of keypad being used. Settings must match for all keypad buttons to function
Select correctly. Selections are:
6 Key – 9 Key – 10 Key – 20 Key
6 Key 6 button keypad on left side of set.
9 Key 9 button keypad on left side of set.
10 Key 10 button keypad on left side of set.
20 Key 20 button keypad on front of set.
