8. In a few seconds you will see the connected ICON appear in the upper right corner of the
screen next to the time display. If an incorrect password was entered the set will attempt to
connect but will show disconnected. The connected ICON will still appear but not data will
flow.
9. If your network does not show in the list you can add it manually by selecting or clicking on
Add Wi-Fi network.
A. Enter the network name.
B. Select the type of security.
C. Enter the password if required
D. Select or click the “Save” button.
Software The Android™ operating system is updated via a USB flash drive . To update:
Updates
1. Insert a USB flash drive containing the OS update file into the rear of side USB port. NOTE:
you can not use the SW-update port next to the HDMI port on the rear jack panel.
2. Select or click on the Settings app.
3. Select or click on Upgrade.
4. Select or click on the “From usb storage” button.
System will validate the upgrade software and then install it. This will take approximately 8 minutes.
When the update is finished the system will reboot.
White You can leave messages in the White Board on the right side of the home screen. To add or change a
Board White Board message:
1. Select or click on the White Board.
2. Select Administrator or Visitor. For Administrator you must enter the administrator
password. Default is 12363.
3. Enter message using a keyboard or left click in the White Board to bring up the virtual
keyboard.
4. Press the “BACK” button or right click when finished.
Hard Drive An optional SATA laptop size hard drive may be installed in the set and accessed via the Android™
operating system. Before installation, the hard drive must be formatted with a PC or laptop computer
running Linux. The drive must be formatted EXT3 and permission for full access must be given to all
users before the drive is installed into the set.
Return To To return to TV viewing select or click on the TV ICON on the home page. To retune to the home
TV page, press the “BACK” button or right click until the Home page is showing. You can also use the
“SOURCE” button on an IR remote or pillow speaker to select TV source.
