Position the tone circuit board in
the chassis as shown.
Connect the white wire coming from
hole Pon the amplifier circuit
board to hole Fon the tone circuit
board (S-1).
(~) Connect the brown wire coming from
hole Ron the amplifier circuit
·board to hole G on the tone circuit
board (S-1).
Connect the brown wire coming from
hole Q on the amplifier circuit
board ·to hole Eon the tone circuit
board (S-1).
Connect the inner lead of the green
shielded cable to hole D (S-1) and
the shield lead to hole "-C (S-1) on
the tone circuit board.
~ ) Connect the inner lead of the blue
shielded cable to hole B (S-1) and
the shield lead to hole A (S-1) on
the tone circuit board.
Refer to Pictorial 4-2 for the following
steps.
( ~ Take the four snap-in bearings.
Install one bearing on each large
hole in the front panel.
Position the tone circuit board foil-
side-up as shown. Then insert the
control shafts through the front
panel. Secure the circuit board with
six No 6 x 1/4

sheet metal screws.
Check the foil side of the circuit
boards for unsoldered connections,
solder bridges and long leads . Cut
off any excess lead lengths.
NOTE: Holes AB, AC and U on the
amplifier circu i t boa rd will not be
used.
