• Installwithinthewarmairspaceenclosedbythebuilding
envelope.Thishelpstoproducemoredraft,especially
duringlightinganddie-downofthere.
• Installingthereplaceinabasementisnotrecommended.
• Penetratethehighestpartoftheroof.Thisminimizes
theeffectsofwindloading.
• Locate termination cap away from trees, adjacent
structures,unevenrooflinesandotherobstructions.
• Minimizetheuseofchimneyoffsets.
• Considerthereplacelocationrelativetooorandceiling
andatticjoists.
