ASSEMBLE SHAFT TUBE
1. Remove the lower tube protection cap before installation (fig. 4A).
2. Loosen the wing nut on top of the shaft (fig. 5A).
3. Pull out the positioning pin (fig. 6A).
4. Slide the bottom part of the shaft into the grip to the top (fig. 7).
5. The positioning pin on the bottom part must visibly engage.
6. Tighten the wing nut (fig. 8).
C Before starting the machine, ensure that both shaft parts fit tightly together and
wing nut is sufficiently tightened.
DISASSEMBLY
1. Loosen the wing nut on top of the shaft for removal.
2. Unlock positioning pin and slide the lower tubular shaft.
SAFETY GUARD ASSEMBLY
CAUTION! A
Never use the device without a protective cover properly installed. There is a risk of
injury.
1. Fix the brush cutter safety guard into gear case with three bolts
(fig. 9 + 10A) by using hex
wrench.
2. To mow with the trimmer head: Tighten four bolts (fig. 11 + 12A) to install the grass
trimmer safety guard and brush cutter safety guard by using the screwdriver.
3. Grass trimmer safety guard may be used with trimmer heads. Not approved for use with
cutting blades.
METAL CUTTING DISC ASSEMBLY
(fig. 13)
1. First remove the locking pin on the end of the angular gear shaft. (If installed)
2. Insert the smaller Allen key into the hole on the angular gear side. Turn the shaft so that
the key passes through the driver’s hole to lock the shaft.
3. After locking the shaft, loosen and unscrew the fastening nut (bolt). The nut (bolt) has a left-
hand thread! Therefore, loosen it clockwise.
4. Remove the spacer and bottom carrier. Leave only the tool carrier (upper carrier) threaded
on the shaft.
5. Fit and centre the metal cutting disc.
6. 6. Replace lower carrier d and the spacer. Tighten the fixing nut (bolt) anticlockwise.
7. Finally, insert the locking pin and extend it. (if installed)
STRIMMER CUTTING HEAD ASSEMBLY
Proceed in the same way as the metal cutting disc assembly in points 1–4.
1. Lock the shaft again with an Allen key.
2. Mount the strimmer head on the shaft by screwing it anticlockwise (fig. 14A).
3. Loosen the strimmer head and remove it after locking the shaft (point 2) by turning it
clockwise.
