2. Fasten string knife in the screwstock and sharpen it by flat file. Work carefully and only in
one direction.
3. Attach the strings sharp cutter to the protective cover.
Do not use the machine without string knife or with damaged one in any case. If the blade is
defect, contact authorized service center.
MAINTENANCE A
NGULAR TRANSFER
Before each use, regularly check and fill as needed fat in the angle of the transfer. Is performed
after removing the screw on the side of the housing transfer (fig. 14A). Featured lubricant
HECHT GREASE GX.
CLEANING
CAUTION! A
Never spray the product with water or expose it to water.
1. Carefully clean the machine after each use.
2. Make sure the handles are never dirty with oil or grease. In case of dirt, clean the handles
with a damp cloth soaked in soapy water.
3. Never use aggressive detergents or solvents for cleaning. They could cause
irreparable damage to the machine. Plastic parts could be corroded by chemicals.
4. Wipe the machine with a slightly damp cloth or brush.
5. Clean the machine cover, especially the air vents.
6. The active part of the machine is to be cleaned and completely dried after each use. Lubricate
metal parts with suitable preservative oil or lubricating grease to protect against corrosion.
(Possible damage to parts due to corrosion cannot be considered as a manufacturing or
material defect.)
STORAGE
Store the machine out of reach of children.
Allow let the machine to cool down before storage.
Remove the battery.
Do not store the machine a long time in direct sunlight.
Replace worn or damaged parts for safety.
Store machine in a clean, dry, dark and frost-free place, protected from dust and out
of reach of children. The ideal storage temperature is between 5 and 30°C.
Cover unit with a suitable protective cover that does not retain moisture. Do not use sheet
plastic as a dust cover. A nonporous cover will trap moisture around the machine, promoting
rust and corrosion.
If possible, store the machine in its original packaging.

Only store the machine with the blade cover attached.
