OPERATION
INSERTING AND REMOVING THE BATTERY

CAUTION! A
First read the instructions supplied with the battery and those supplied with
the charger before inserting the battery.
• To insert the battery, press down on the battery lock button
(fig. 19A) and slide the battery
onto the guide grooves on the machine
(fig. 17A–18).
• To remove the battery from the machine, press the lock button on the battery to release it.
Pull the battery out of the guide grooves.
BATTERY CHARGE-CONTROL INDICATION
• The battery is equipped with a charge-control indicator which indicates its charge condition.
The charge-control indicator consists of 4 LEDs.
• Press the button (fig. 20A) to actuate the charge-control indicator. After approx. 5 seconds,
the charge-control indicator goes out automatically.

The battery pack can be used as usual until
automatically turned off by the control program.
If the battery pack can not release power, the
battery pack needs to be charged.
• The battery can be used until the control electronics are automatically disconnected.
After disconnecting the power supply from the battery, the tool starts up, but
further loading could damage the battery permanently. Therefore, it‘s necessary to
recharge the battery immediately after automatic disconnection.
• If no led lights-up after pressing the button, the battery is defective. the defective battery
must be discarded and replaced with a new one.
• For safety reasons, the charge condition of the battery can only be checked when
the garden product is at a standstill.
FITTING OF SHOULDER STRAP
CAUTION! A
Shoulder strap wear always when you work with the machine. Before releasing
the strap always switch off the engine. Danger of injury!
