C Caution! Do not lean the string trimmer head agaist the ground during operation!
Unnecessary loosening of the string would occur!
EXTENSION OF THE
STRING
Your machine is equipped with tap automatics with double string, it means that both strings
will be extended when the cutting head touches the ground and the machines runs on full gass.
1. Hold the machine in operation over the grass area and slightly touch the ground with cutting
head. In this way you extend the string.
2. The knive in the protection guard cuts the string to required length.
IF THE STRING CANNOT BE EXTENDED:
• Turn off the machine engine!
• Press the button in the middle of the coil to the end and strongly pull the ends of strings.
IF THE STRING ENDS CANNOT BE SEEN:
• Replace the coil with string (see chapter Replacement of the coil)
C Attention! Rests of strings may be thrown away and cause injury!
IF THE MACHINE VIBRATES
• Clean the machine; remove any grass from the cutting head and the guard. Check
the centring and balancing of the cutting mechanism.
MAINTENANCE
CAUTION! A
To ensure proper functioning of the machine, it is necessary to have it checked and
adjusted by qualified personnel in an authorized service centre at least once a year.
Proper maintenance is essential for safe, economic and trouble-free operation of
the machine.
Failure to follow the maintenance instructions and safety precautions may cause serious injury
or death. Always follow the procedures, safety precautions, recommended maintenance and
recommended checks mentioned in this manual.

Prior to any work on the machine (maintenance, inspection, replacement of
accessories, servicing) or before storing it, ALWAYS SWITCH THE ENGINE OFF, wait
for all moving parts to stop and allow the machine to cool down. Prevent the engine
from accidentally starting by removing the battery.
THIS WARNING IS NOT REPEATED IN ANY FOLLOWING POINTS!
• Always make sure that all nuts and bolts are firmly tightened and make sure the machine is
in good working order.
