SERVICE NOTE
If access to the device is password protected or other access security, it is necessary
to cancel this protection before servicing. If this is not possible, it’s necessary to enter
the password or other access security in the Order Form (Complaint Protocol) together with
the defect’s description so that the service centre can handle the device.
DISPOSAL
• According to Directives 2012/19/EU on waste electrical
and electronic equipment and 2006/66/EU on batteries and
accumulators and waste batteries and accumulators, this
product, its parts and a battery must not be put in municipal
waste at the end of its useful life.
• By ensuring proper disposal of this product after the end of its
service life, you will help prevent any negative environmental
and human health consequences that could could result from
improper disposal of this appliance.
• Improper disposal of residual oils, chemicals, batteries, product parts (and similar) can lead
to pollution of watercourses, wastewater, air, soil and have negative impacts not only on
the environment but also on human health. Improper waste disposal also exposes you to
the possibility of penalties.
• Always return the packaging, accessories, refills and product for recycling.
• Contact your local authorities or collection yards for details.
• HECHT services can also be used to dispose of your old electrical and electronic equipment.
We will carry out this process for you free of charge.
GUARANTEE OF THE PRODUCT
• For this product we provide a legal warranty, legal responsibility from the defects, for
24 months from receipt.
• For corporate, commercial, municipal and other than private use we provide a legal warranty
and legal responsibility for a total of 6 months from receipt.
• All products are designed for home use, unless there is another information in the instruction
manual or operation description. When using otherwise or in contradiction with instruction
manual the claim is not recognized as legitimate.
• Inappropriate product selection and the fact that the product does not meet your
requirements can not be a reason for complaint. Buyer is familiar with the properties of
the product.
• Buyer has the right to ask the seller to check the functionality of the product and become
familiar with its operation.
• A prerequisite for receiving warranty claims is that the guidelines for operating, servicing,
cleaning, storage and maintenance were followed.
• Damage caused by natural wear and tear, overloading, improper use or intervention outside
the authorized service during the warranty period, are excluded from the guarantee.
• Warranty does not cover wear and tear of components known as common consumables
(eg. bearings, carbon brushes, commutators, trimmer heads, trimmer lines...).
• From the warranty are excluded wear and tear of the product or parts caused by normal
use of the product or parts of the product (eg low battery or reduce battery capacity after
a period of usual life of 6 months) and other parts subject to natural wear and tear.
