1. Put the strap on your shoulder.
2. Adjust the length of the strap so that the hook (fig. 15A) is about 10 cm under your hip.
3. Fasten the hook in eye on multifunctional handle, contingently on tube shaft (fig. 15).
STRIMMER BALANCE
The balance must be adjusted with the motor switched off, the tank half full and
the cutting tool fitted.
1. Hang the machine on the strap carabiner (fig. 16).
2. Hold the strimmer with both handles so that the cutting tool is parallel to the ground. (if you
use a cutting disc, it is necessary to have a spacer fitted)
3. If the strimmer is properly balanced, the cutting tool should only lightly touch the ground
and no more force should be required to raise the cutting tool.
4. If the cutting tool falls to the ground, move the shoulder strap suspension eye slightly
forward. If, on the other hand, the cutting tool lifts itself off the ground and must be held
close to the ground, move the shoulder strap suspension eye slightly backwards.
Note: I
Before moving, first loosen the eye with a wrench and tighten after adjustment.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
CONTROL
• Cut only grass and weed. Mind roots and stumps, danger of tripping and fall.
• Work carefully and during the work pay attention not to endanger anybody.
• Follow the cutting head.
• Never cut over shoulder level. Do not work on the ladder!
• The machine wear always hung on the shoulder strap or at the tube shaft.
• Do not work with the brush cutter during usual time of silent hours.
• During cutting in high bush or weed should do minimum cutting height 15 cm. In this way
will not be endangered small animals e.g. hedgehogs.
• Never operate the blower/vacuum if any component parts are damaged, loose or missing.
• In the event of any sign of failure (increased vibration, different sound, smoke from
the engine, etc.), stop the engine first and check the machine.
• Move slowly only forward.
C If the machine is left unattended for a long time, secure it against accidental start
by disconnecting it by removing the battery.
WORKING WITH THE
TRIM
MER HEAD
• On small grass areas hold the machine under the angle of 30 degrees and evenly turn to
the left and right in half round movements (fig. 23–24).
• The best results you reach if the grass is max. 15 cm high. If the grass is higher, it is
recommended to cut it several times.
• If you cut around the trees, fence columns or other obstacles walk slowly around the object
and cut by the top of the string.
• Avoid contact with solid objects (stones, walls, fences etc.). The string would be worn too
quickly. For keeping the cutting head in correct distance use the edge of the protection
guard.
