Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or clothing that has cords or belts, jewellery,
and the like. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes,
jewellery or long hair can be caught in moving parts.
Prolonged use of the machine may lead to disorders of blood circulation in hands caused by
vibration. These effects can be worsened by low ambient temperatures and/or by gripping
the handgrips excessively tightly. Period of use you can extend with appropriate gloves or
regular breaks. Take frequent work breaks. Limit the amount of exposure per day.

This machine can cause serious injury (for example, cutting off the limbs) and throw
objects away. Failure to observe safety regulations can result in serious injury.
The machine may only be operated by one person.
Always ensure good stability on slopes.
Move the machine at walking pace.
The following applies for the machines on wheels: while working, proceed following
the contour lines, never uphill or downhill.
Be especially careful when turning the machine or pulling it towards yourself.
Increased attention should be paid to places where the soil is rocky and hard. Under these
conditions there is a risk of injury or damage to the machine by throwing stones, clods and
the like.
The machine must not be lifted or transported while the engine is running. When changing
the working area, switch off the machine and wait for the work tool to stop completely.
Never use the machine with damaged protection devices or covers or missing, modified or
disconnected safety systems.
Do not work with a damaged, incomplete or rebuilt machine.
If you hit a foreign object, stop the machine. Allow the engine to cool down, disconnect
the spark plug terminal and check for any damage to the machine. The machine must be
repaired before starting and using it again.
If abnormal vibrations occur or you hear unusual sound during operation, stop the machine
and determine the cause. Vibrations generally indicate a malfunction. Have it repaired
before using it again.
If you use the machine for the first time or after a repair, it is necessary to perform a test
run to see if any abnormal reactions occur. This avoids the risk of injury or damage to
the machine.
Never leave this machine unattended at the workplace.
Turn off the engine every time you leave the machine.
Do not try to repair it yourself. Any work not mentioned in this manual SHOULD ONLY BE
PERFORMED BY AN AUTHORISED SERVICE CENTRES.
PREPARATION
Examine the machine ensure it is in good condition, check all the screws, nuts and other
fasteners are properly secured and the screen is in place. Replace unreadable labels.
Keep all guards and deflectors in place and in good working condition.
Remove accumulated debris from muffler area and cylinder area. Inspect the muffler for
cracks, corrosion, or other damage.
