CHECKING THE OIL LEVEL AND ADDING
C Check the oil level only when the engine is off and cool. The machine must stand
level.
1. Remove the oil filler cap / dipstick (fig. 11 A) and dry it thoroughly.
2. Pull the plug of the oil filler cap/dipstick fully into the oil filler neck, but screw it. Then
remove it. After pulling out, read the oil level dipstick (fig. 12).
3. If the oil level is near or below the lower limit mark dipstick, remove the oil filler cap / dipstick
and add oil to the engine between the upper and lower mark. Don‘t overfill.
4. Refit the oil filler cap/dipstick.
Change the oils according to the paragraph of MAINTENANCE / OIL CHANGE.
ENGINE PRE-OPERATION CHECK
For your safety, and to maximize the service life of your equipment, it is very important to take
a few moments to check the engine condition before operating. If you have some doubts, don´t
start the machine. Contact our authorized service.
ALWAYS CHECK THE FOLLOWING ITEMS BEFORE YOU START THE ENGINE:
Total control: Make sure there are no leaks, find loose or damaged parts the equipment powered engine.
- fuel level
- air cleaner (if equipped)
- correct fitting of spark plug end.
- cleanness of controls (switches, handles)
- safety and protective equipment
- device, engine-powered tool.
- Before each use, check the condition of cultivating blades, if damaged, replace them
with new ones.
CAUTION! A
Be sure to take care of any problem you find, or have authorized service dealer to
correct it, before you operate the engine. Improper maintenance to this engine, or
failure to correct a problem before operation, can cause malfunction in which you
can be seriously hurt or killed.
HIGHER ALTITUDES
The engines operating at high altitudes (above 1600 meters above sea level) require the special
attention, because decrease of the fuel mixture saturation ratio to supersaturation. This
leads to the power loss and higher fuel consumption. For more information, contact an
authorized service center.
OPERATION
The instructions in this manual apply under normal operating conditions. If you operate
your engine under severe conditions, such as permanent high load, high temperature
or unusually large humidity or dust, contact your service on the recommendations
applicable to your individual needs and the way of using the machine in your case.
