You cannot rectify disorders that require more intervention yourself.
If you‘re unable to rectify the fault using the corrective measures described below,
contact a specialist garage, preferably an authorised service centre.
Improper handling can cause damage or serious injuries.

Engine does not
start
Empty tank
Fill the tank up to its full capacity; check whether
the carburettor contains a fuel; check tank de-aeration
Dirty air filter Clean the air filter
Weak ignition spark
Clean the spark plug or install the new one if necessary;
check the ignition cable; let the ignition checked in a service.
„Over-swilled“ engine
Unscrew the spark plug, clean it and dry; pull several
times the starting string when the spark plug is unscrewed
(without a choke).
Old fuel Drain tank and refill with fresh fuel
Engine outages
occur
Ignition cable is
released
Fit the spark plug connector firmly onto the spark plug
Fuel piping is clogged
or fuel is bad
Clean fuel piping, use fresh fuel
Air hole in the fuel tank
cap is blocked
Clean or replace the fuel tank cap
There is water or dirt in
fuel piping
Drain the fuel and refill clean and fresh fuel
Air filter is dirty Clean the air filter
Engine smokes so

Too much oil in air filter Repeat squeezing (see maintenance)

Tighten the fixing screws
The machiner shaft
