4.5 Storage
4.5.1 Tool and power pack with control box
f Store the tool and the power pack in a cool, dry place.
f Avoid direct sunlight.
f Store the tool and the power pack in dustproof
packaging.
f Store electrical components (tool and power pack) in
impact-absorbing packaging and separately from the
accessories.
f Consult and comply with the appropriate data sheets for
storage of the accessories.
4.5.2 Cable ties and cable-tie reels
NOTE
Cable ties and cable-tie reels are not resistant against
ageing. The plastic deteriorates if storage time is
prolonged.
f Use up cable ties promptly.
Storage temperature 20 °C – 23 °C
Relative humidity 50 %
f Always store the cable-tie reels until needed in the bags
in which they are supplied and make sure that the bags
remain airtight. If necessary, seal the bags with adhesive
tape.
f Do note keep in storage for longer than 6 months.
f Never leave the packaging open for longer than
12hours.
f Do not open the packaging until immediately before the
contents are to be used and use up all the cable ties
promptly.
f Do not expose the cable-tie reels to direct sunlight.
f Keep the cable-tie reels well away from sources of heat.
