Reinstall the oil filter screen with the sharp
edged side facing inwards.
• Reinstall the dowel pins, new gasket,
crankcase cover, kick starter pedal, rider
footrest assembly with side stand, exhaust
muffler and clutch cable.
• Install the side stand switch screw.
• Adjust the clutch cable free play, if required
(page 52).
• Fill the crankcase with clean engine oil as
per specification.
Ensure to replace gasket with new one once
removed.
NOTE
•
Remove the gasket (7) and dowel pins (8).
•
Remove the oil filter screen (9) and wash it
in clean non flammable or high flash point
solvent (kerosene).

AIR CLEANER
Air cleaner element inspection
The air cleaner is viscous paper pleated type
filter which has enhances filtering efficiency.
The air cleaner replacedshould be at regular
intervals When riding in dusty (page 41).
areas, more frequent may be replacement
necessary.
