Other Checks
Check for smooth rotation of the throttle grip
from the fully open to the fully closed position.
Check at full left and full right steering
positions. Inspect the condition of the throttle
Ÿ Check for clutch cable model. Use genuine
clutch cables.
Ÿ Check for clutch cable routing.
Cable inspection
Ÿ Check the clutch cable for kinks or signs of
wear that could cause sticking or failure.

Ÿ Start the engine, press the clutch lever and
shift into gear. Make sure the engine does
not stall, and the vehicle does not creep.
Gradually release the clutch lever and open
