Carefully add distilled water to the upper level
mark using a small plastic funnel.
Maintenance
Check the battery electrolyte. The electrolyte
level must be maintained between the upper
(2) and the lower (3) level marks on the side
of the battery. If the electrolyte level is low,
remove the bolt (4) and remove the bracket
(5) for access to the battery. Remove the
battery filler caps.

NOTE
Ÿ Dispose off used/old battery to authorised
dealer only.
Ÿ Insufficient electrolyte results in sulphation
& plate damage.
Ÿ Use only distilled water in the battery. Tap
water may shorten the service life of the
battery.
Ÿ Do not attempt to start or drive the vehicle
without a charged battery, it can cause
fusing of the bulbs and permanent damage
to certain electrical components.
Ÿ When checking battery electrolyte level or
adding distilled water, make sure the
breather tube is connected to the battery
breather outlet.
Ÿ Turn the ignition switch "OFF" before
checking or replacing the fuse to prevent
accidental short-circuiting.

12V-2.5 Ah
Ÿ Disconnect the (-)ve cable from the battery,
then disconnect the (+)ve cable.
Ÿ Disconnect the battery breather tube.
Ÿ Check all bolts and other fasteners are
secure.
Ÿ Insert the ignition key into the right side
cover lock. Remove the side cover by
turning the key clockwise. Pull out lug from
the grommet and slide the cover back.
Battery installation
Ÿ Remove the battery clamp bolt.
Battery removal
Ÿ Make sure the ignition switch is "OFF".
Ÿ Reinstall in the reverse order of removal.
Ÿ Pull out the battery from the battery box.
Fuse replacement
The fuse holder (1) & (2) is placed adjacent
to the battery which consists of spare fuse.
The specified fuses are 10A (3) & 7A (4).
