Make sure that the cut-out on the adjusting

Ÿ
Park the vehicle on its main stand.
Ÿ
Measure the distance brake pedal (1) moves
before the brake starts to take holed. Free play
(2) should be 20-30 mm .
Ÿ
If adjustment is necessary, turn the rear
brake adjusting nut (3).

(A) Cut-out not seated (B) Cut-out seated

Ÿ
Apply the brake several times and check for
free wheel rotation when released.
Ÿ
If adjustment is necessary, turn the adjusting
nut (3).
Ÿ
Make sure that cut-out on the adjusting nut
is seated on the brake joint pin (4) after
making final free play adjustment.
