Battery charging
Always visit your Authorised Hero Moto
Corp workshop if you see any symptom of
battery discharge as earliest as possible to get
the battery charged. The battery has a
tendency to discharge rapidly if any additional
electrical accessories are fitted on your vehicle.
Battery storage
•
If in case your vehicle is not used for more
than a month remove the battery, fully
charge and store in a cool and dry place.
•
If the battery is expected to be stored for
more then two months, ensure to fully
charge the battery once in a month.
•
Always ensure the battery is fully charged
before installation.
•
Ensure the battery leads are properly
connected to the battery terminals during
installation.
Battery removal
•
Remove the front center cover (page 38).
•
Remove the battery band (1) by removing
the (2) boot band clip from both sides of the
battery.
WARNING
!!
•
The battery gives off explosive hydrogen gas
during normal operation.
•
A spark or flame can cause the battery to
explode with enough force to seriously hurt
you.
•
Wear protective clothing and a face shield,
or have skilled technician do the battery
maintenance.

Disconnect the (-)ve terminal lead (3) from
the battery first, then disconnect the (+)ve
terminal lead (4).
