4.1 Warnings and recommendations
4.1.1 Warnings
Exposure to water and other liquids:
Avoid the possibility of water or other liquids
coming in contact with the electronics. Any
contact of water or other liquids may damage
the electronics, cause malfunctions or failure
and pose a threat to life.
Recommendations
Cleaning:
To clean the Heta Premium Display gently wipe
it with a dry cloth. To remove grease stains
gently wipe the unit using a cloth with a mini-
mum amount of mild detergent.
To deactivate the Heta Premium Display for 30
seconds, see chapter 4.5.0 displaycleaning.
4.2 Getting started
4.2.1 Removing the transparent protective
film
It is recommended that you remove the protec-
tive film before using the Heta Premium Display
to guarantee the best performance of the sen-
sitive (touch) surface.
4.2.2 Connecting the heating device to the
power supply
Connect the heating device to the power sup-
ply (follow the instructions of your heating
device)..
4.2.3 Setting the language
Set the desired language (for details see chap-
ter 4.5.6)
4.2.4 Setting the date and time
Set the correct date and time on the Heta
Premium Display (for details see chapter 4.2.4).
4.3 Turning the heating device on/off.
4.3.1 Changing/selecting the operating power
level
The Heta Premium Display allows you to switch
between 5 different power levels.
- Tap on to enter the Main menu.
- Set the desired power level from 1 to 5 (AUTO).
- 1 = 2.5kW 5 = 9.0kW
4.3.2 Target temperature
Depending on the heating devices configuration,
Heta Premium Display allows you to set the
desired target temperature of the room.
4.3.3 Setting the target temperature
- Tap on to enter the Temperature menu and
set the desired (target) temperature.
(The temperature changes are saved immediately,
not needed to be confirmed.)
The display in the Temperature menu shows:
- Currently set temperature - displayed with big
numbers.
- Actual temperature - displayed with small num-
bers.
- Temperature unit - upper right corne.
4.3.4 Start manually through Heta Premium
Display
a: Hold for 3 seconds the center of the screen.
Hold 2 seconds
to fire up
b: Tap on to enter the Main menu and Hold
for 3 seconds to turn ON the heating device
4.2.5 Setting the temperature unit
Set the temperature unit (°C or °F) you want to
be appeared on the Heta Premium Display
(for details see chapter 4.5.1).
