Chapter 8 Event and Alarm
8.1 Excepon Alarm
Set excepon alarm when the network is disconnected, the IP address is conicted, etc.
Steps
Note
The supported excepon types vary with dierent models. The actual device prevails.
1.
Go to Conguraon → Event → Alarm Linkage → Excepon .
2.
Select the
excepon type(s) and the linkage method.
3.
Click Save.
8.2 Set Email
When the email is enabled and set, the device will send an email nocaon to all designated
receivers if an alarm event is detected.
Before You Start
Set the DNS server before using the email
funcon. Go to Conguraon → Network → Network
Parameters → Network Interface for DNS sengs.
Steps
1.
Go to
Conguraon → Network → Data Connecon → Email .
2.
Check Enable Email.
