Chapter 6 Troubleshooting

Confirm the direction of the clamp sensor, and
connections of the voltage cable.
(Frequency measurement)
Check the waveform. Some special frequencies can't
be measured, such as those of inverters.
Check that the input value corresponds to 10A or less
and 10V or less.
The desirable
measurement data
aren't taken.
(The measured value
is smaller or larger
than the estimated
value.

Confirm the direction of the clamp sensor, and
Connections of the voltage cable.
Check that the clamp sensor is firmly closed.
Check that the battery warning annunciator
is off.
The display
fluctuates largely at
the peak display.
There is a possibility to fluctuate 2 or 20 counts when
the input becomes big.
Data cannot be
outputted.

If the cause cannot be determined after troubleshooting, reset to their initial
values. To reset, hold down the
RANGE
key at unit power-on. The entire
LCD will go on, and "
" will appear. This resets the saved
contents to their initial values.

An indication Err1 to Err5
appears.
Send the unit for repair.
