1.5 Removing Outdoor Fan Motor
(1) Remove the air outlet grille.
(2) Remove the upper cover.
(3) Remove the closing nut and the washer securing the propeller fan to the motor shaft with a socket
wrench. Then remove the propeller fan from the motor shaft. (If it is difcult to remove, a corrosion or
puller may be needed.)
(4) Removing Fan Motor.
(a) Remove the service cover.
(b) Disconnect the connectors for the fan motors from the outdoor unit PCB in the electrical box.
(c) Remove the spacer screws securing the fan motor.
