During Defrosting Operation
While the outdoor unit performs the automatic
defrosting operation, the indoor fan is stopped
and the louver is xed horizontally.
l
Cooling of Indoor Unit
(After Heat Exclusion)
While the heating operation is stopped, the
indoor fan operation may be kept at the slow
position for the maximum of 2 minutes to lower
temperature of the inside of the unit.
l
Automatic Defrosting Cycle
When the heating operation is stopped by
pressing RUN/STOP switch, frost on the outdoor
unit is checked and the defrosting operation may
be performed for the maximum of 10 minutes.
l
Prevention of Overload Operation
When the outdoor temperature is high (approx.
21C
o
or more) during heating operation,
heating operation is stopped due to activation
of the outdoor thermistor until the temperature
becomes low.
< At Dry Operation >
l
Dew Prevention during Dry Operation
In order to prevent dew condensation, the unit
operates with its louver at a different angle from
the original setting for a certain period of time.
Even in this case, LCD of remote control switch
displays the set louver angle.
NOTE
l
If the system is stopped due to a power failure,
it will not automatically start again even though
power is restored.
Repeat the start-up procedure from Step 1 to
start the system. In the event of a very brief
power failure (2 seconds maximum), the settings
are memorized.
Therefore, the system starts automatically after
approximately 3 minutes.
l
This air conditioner adopts hot air circulation
system for the heating operation.
If the air conditioning room is large or the room
temperature is excessively low, it takes time to
warm the whole room. “HOT-ST” will be turned
OFF after heating the room.
l
“HOT-ST” may be displayed during or right
after the defrosting operation. It is activated to
prevent the cold draft. It is NOT abnormal.
l
Whentheatpanelisopened(closed)orthe
airlterisattached(removed),performthe
work according to this operation manual. If
not, it may cause falling or injury.
l
Turn OFF the power source before the
maintenancework.Ifnot,itmaycauseare
or an electric shock.
l
Perform the maintenance work with stable
footing. If not, it may cause falling or injury.
l
Do not operate the system without the air lter
to protect the indoor unit heat exchanger against
being clogged.

16. Simultaneous Operation of Multiple
Indoor Units
The multiple indoor units (Max. 16 units) can
be started and stopped simultaneously by one
wireless remote control switch. For the details,
contact your distributor or contractor.
For twin, triple and quad combination with the
wireless remote control switch, the optional
receiver kit is required. (This operation are NOT
available with the wireless remote control switch if
the built-in receiver is only utilized.)
