< Function >

Cooling Operation (COOL):
To decrease the room temperature.

Heating Operation (HEAT):
To increase the room temperature.
●
Dry Operation (DRY):
To decrease the humidity in the room.
●
Automatic Cooling/Heating Operation (AUTO):
To cooling and heating automatic changeover.
(Refer to the item 7.1 for details.)

Fan Operation (FAN):
To circulate the air in the room.
7. Operation Mode
(Cooling, Heating, Dry, Automatic
Cooling/Heating and Fan Operation)
NOTE
7.1 Automatic Cooling/Heating Operation
Turn ON the power supply to the system for
approximately 12 hours before start-up after long
shutdown. Do not start the system immediately
after the power supply. It may cause a compressor
failure, because the compressor is not heated
well. Do not turn OFF the power supply during the
seasons.
< Function >
Automatic Cooling/Heating Operation automatically
switches cooling and heating based on the set
temperature as following inlet air temperature
conditions.
The cooling operation is performed when the inlet
air temperature is approximately 3
o
C higher than
set temperature.
The heating operation is performed when the inlet
air temperature is approximately 3
o
C lower than set
temperature.
NOTE
l
If the fan speed is set to “LOW” during the
heating operation, the operation tends to be
stopped by activation of the protection devices,
etc. In this case, set the fan speed to “MED”,
“HIGH” or “HIGH 2”.
l
The heating operation is not available when
the ambient temperature is higher than
approximately 21
o
C.
l
The threshold of switching temperature against
the setting temperature is + 3
o
C in case of using
this function. Therefore, this function should
not be utilized in the room where the accurate
temperature and humidity controls are required.
< Start Operation >
(1) Press and hold the “MODE” switch for more
than 3 seconds. The indication “AUTO”
(automatic cooling/heating operation) will
appear.
For this operation, the setting is required from the
optional function selection. Contact your distributor
and contractor for details.
The indications of setting temperature,
fan speed and air ow angle are
turned ON.
