(5) Reset the lter sign.

Press “
” (menu).
Select “Filter Sign Reset” from the menu and
press “OK”.
The conrmation screen will be displayed.
•
Select “Yes” by pressing “ ” or “ ” and press
“OK”.
The indication of “FLTR” will be turned OFF
and the screen will return to the normal mode.

NOTE
If the accumulated time of lter cleaning is not got
to setting time, the indication “ ” is turned ON
and “Setting Disabled” will be displayed.

Point the transmitter toward the receiver and
press “RESET” switch. The lter sign of unit is
turned OFF and the time before the next lter
cleaning will be accumulated.
17.1.2 Maintenance for Flat Panel
l
Use a soft cloth to clean the at panel.
If bengine, thinner or detergent (with surfactant)
is used to cleaning, the resin part may get
discolored or deformed. In addition, note that the
parts around the air outlet (louver, guide, etc.)
may be damaged if an excessive force is applied.

The at panel can be removed and cleaned.
Remove it by both hands.
(2) Attaching Flat Panel
Insert the arm shafts on both sides of the
at panel into the holes on the unit body,
along the guide of the front panel. After the
at panel is attached completely, insert the
catches for air lter to x.

(1) Removing Flat Panel
Open the at panel fully and slightly extend
the right arm shaft outward. After the shaft
is removed from the front panel, pull the
at panel frontward with the right arm shaft
slightly extended outward and then remove
the at panel.
(4) Attach the air lter.
After the air lter is dried, correctly attach
it with “FRONT” indication frontward to the
indoor unit.
NOTE
Be sure to attach the air lter.
If the indoor unit is operated without the air lter, it
may cause malfunction of the indoor unit.
