Fade

FADE-IN
1.
Press
the
FADE
button
before
recording
to
select
the
fade
mode.
2.
Press
the
Start/Stop
button
to
start
recording.
The
picture
fades
in
automatically
and
recording
starts.
FADE-OUT
1.
While
the
camera/recorder
is
recording,
press
the
FADE
button
to
select
the
fade
mode.
2.
Press
the
Start/Stop
button
to
stop
recording.
The_
picture
fades
out
automatically
and
"REC"
flashes
until
the
fade
ends
then
recording
stops.
NOTE:
When
fading
out
be
sure
to
wait
until
the
PAUSE
indicator
(•
II)
is
visible
in
the
viewfinder
or
LCD
monitor
before
attempting
to
put
the
camera/recorder
into
the
record
mode
again.
QUICK
EDIT
The
quick
edit
feature
allows
you
to
search
for
the
end
of
previously
recorded
material,
or
find
a
par¬
ticular
spot
on
your
tape,
to
begin
your
editing,
or
recording
new
material.
Quick
edit
is
used
while
the
camera/recorder
is
in
the
record/pause
(stand-by)
mode.
By
holding
down
the
F.FWD,
REW/REVIEW
or
PLAY
button
you
can
visually
search
or
play
your
tape.
Releasing
the
buttons
(F.FWD,
REW/REVIEW
or
PLAY)
immediately
stops
the
tape
at
that
position.
