Freezing point according to ASTM D 1177 is the temperature for the rst ice crystal formation.
The requirements of table must be always compared with glycol manufacturer specications.
Maximum concentration of glycol is 45%.
If system is only prevented against bursting, pump must not be turned on (the liquid inside
might be still frozen)
