It is also possible to start and stop manual recording by using the external cycleon input.
Activating the cycleon input will cause recording to begin.Deactivating cycleon will cause

theManualRecordingmode,theuserdoesnothavetopresstheOkbuttonshowninFigure11.
Recording may be initiated again from this screen by either applying a load greater than the
threshold in Automatic mode, or by triggering the CycleOn in Manual mode.The Recording
CompleteScreenwill remainonthescreen,butbehindthescenes,moreplotsmayberecorded.
ThispreventsanuisanceconditionofhavingtopresstheOkbuttoneverytimeifthePMAC3000
isinconvenientlylocated.

