Thecycle‐oninputiselectricallyisolatedfromthePMAC3000.Itcanbeactivatedbyapplying
5VDC to 24VDC nominal across the inputs, pin 1 to pin 2, on the digital I/O connector.The

TheHigh,PassandLowlimitsreflectthestatusoftheircorrespondingfrontpanelindicators.The
Targetoutputisa special case in thatitdoesnothaveacorrespondingdisplayindicator.The
Targetoutputalsodiffersinthatitisalwaysevaluatedinrealtime,regardlessoftheFunction
Modeselected.
Allfourlimit outputsareactivelow,switchingtogroundwhenactive.SeeFigure15.Theyare
notisolatedfromthePMAC3000.Theoutputsaredesignedtooperatebyswitchingaloadona
5VDCto24VDCnominalsupply.Theabsolutemaximumvoltagelimitoneachoutputis26VDC.
