simplywipeitaway.
Beforeenteringthevehicle,removethesnowfromyour
clothesandshoestopreventanincreaseinhumidity.
The following applies for heating:
• Boththeairintakeaswellastheexhaustgasopeningsof
theheatingsystemmustbekeptfreeofsnowandice.
• Ittakeslongertoheatupthemotorhomeinwinter.
• Donotshutventsforforcedventilation.
• Settheheatingtomaximumpowerwhenheatingupthe
motorhome.Openstowagespaces,cupboards,drawers,
furnitureaps,curtains,shadesandplissés.Thisenables
youtoachieveoptimumventilationandde-aerating.
• Onlyheatthemotorhomewhentherecirculationairsys-
tem is switched on.
• Everymorning,airallofthecushions,mattressesand
stowagespacesanddryanydampspots.
• Airthoroughlywithfullyopeneddoorsandwindowssever-
altimesaday.
• Iftheoutsidetemperatureisunder8°C,wintercovers*
shouldbemountedovertheventilationgrillesoftherefri-
gerator.
• Donotlettheinteriorcooldowncompletelywhenyouare
awayoratnight;settheheatingtolowandleaveiton.
Continuetoheatthevehiclewhileyouaresleeping!
• Themotorhomeusesconsiderablymoregasinwinter
thaninsummer.Two11kgbottlesofgaswillbeusedup
injustunderoneweek.
• Therefore,shouldyoustaylongerinoneplace,itiswor-
thwhile to set up an outer tent. It will help to acclimatise
themotorhomeandkeepthedirtout.
The following applies for tanks and containers:
• Iftheinteriorissucientlyheated,thefreshwatertank,
waterpipesandtherme/boilershouldnotfreeze.Fillallof
thewatercontainersonlyaftertheinteriorhasbeen
thoroughlyheated.
• Whentheheatingison,thewastewatertankisheated.In
severefrost,alsoaddananti-freezingcompoundortable
salttothewastewater.Ifthevehicleisnotbeingused,the
wastewatertankmustbeemptiedcompletely.
• Thetoiletcanbeusednormally,evenincoldweather,as
longastheinteriorofthemotorhomeisheated.Theex-
crementtankshouldbeemptiedifthereisdangeroffrost.
