Installation requirements and transport
Danger of injury due to insucient air supply!
The device must not be covered or positioned in such a way
that its operation or function is adversely affected.
Ö Do not place the device close to curtains that prevent the
flow of cooling air and would lead to the device overheating.
Ö The air inlet at the rear of the device must be kept free.
Danger of injury due to foreign substances!
The appliance should be kept away from children and pets to
avoid foreign substances unexpectedly being supplied to the
patient from the device.
Risk of injury from the device falling!

For operation, the device must be placed securely on a
level surface.
Ö Ensure that the device is secure during transport.
Risk of injury from overheated respiratory air!
The device must not be operated outside of the prescribed
ambient conditions. Excessively high ambient temperatures can
lead to an increase in the temperature of the respiratory air.
Ö Please observe the required operating, transport and stor-
age conditions.
• Place the device near the bed on a firm, level surface.
•
Ensure that the device is in a horizontal position, especially if it is connected to
a humidifier.
• Never put the device on a cupboard shelf or under the bed.
• The device and accessories must not be exposed to direct sunlight.
• No objects must be placed on the device.
• When used as a mobile unit, it must be placed on a level, firm surface that has a
raised edge so that the device cannot fall.

The system with battery pack must never be stored or transported at ambient
temperatures under -20°C or over +45°C up to 3 months.
• The system without battery pack must never be stored or transported at ambient
temperatures under -25°C or over +70°C.
•
Due to electromagnetic interference, the respiratory therapy device must not be set
up in the immediate vicinity of other devices whose emissions are not CE-compliant
or where limit values are exceeded. If this is unavoidable, the respiratory therapy
device must be monitored with respect to error-free and proper operation.
