Instructions for home therapy
Before the patient uses the respiratory therapy device independently at home, please
note the following:
1. Adjust all the parameters and settings to home therapy.
2.
Instruct the patient or care staff in how to use the device. Also explain which
accessories may be used and how the device must be maintained and looked after.
3. If oxygen is used, the patient should be given instruction in his/her own home on
how to handle oxygen.
Maintenance work
Aging and wear of the device!
Device functions can be impaired by the aging and wear of
components.

It is recommended to have the device serviced by autho-
rized service engineers every 2 years.
Please note: Never carry out maintenance while the patient is still connected to the
respiratory therapy device.
The device has a life expectancy of at least 5 years. It is maintenance-free when used
as intended and if the cleaning instructions are observed. However, to increase the life
expectancy, we recommend a service by authorized service engineers every 2 years.
