The following measures must be taken before the device may be used on another patient:

Bacterial filter Replace
Coarse and fine filters Replace

Replace or, if permitted, reprocess as per the manufacturer's
instructions
Tube system
Replace or, if permitted, reprocess as per the manufacturer's
instructions
Humidifier Reprocess humidifier as per the manufacturer's instructions
Device
Wipe disinfect the device surface with a disposable cloth. We
recommend a nonalcoholic desinfectants for disinfecting the
device’s surface, e.g. schülke mikrozid® sensitive wipes. Make
sure that no liquid can enter into the device's openings.
Allow the disinfectant to work as per the instructions of the dis-
infectant manufacturer. Wipe off any disinfectant residue from
the device using a disposable cloth.
